#100PORTRAITSOFATRAINCONDUCTOR
Last year, I embarked on a journey with thousands of Instagram users called #the100dayproject. I committed to exploring my inner creative for 100 days. The project completely changed me and the journey was something I did not expect. When I heard that round two of the project was being done in collaboration with The Great Discontent, I was excited to jump in again.
The only problem: I didn't have a project idea
My previous project was all about experimentation. Lots of play. It was my time to diverge, and create choices for myself as an artist. It was my journey to creative recovery. Coming full circle, this new project would seem to be rooted in convergence. In making choices. In honing in on what I really loved. So instead of asking myself the question, I asked the inner artist and decided to trust her... "What do you feel like doing for the next 100 days?"
"Paint portraits of our train conductor friend"
So began my project #100PortraitsofaTrainConductor. You can follow along as I post each conductor and it's journey to creation on Instagram.
