"Please save my brother' was what the little girl said to me when I realized the teenager in front of me was drowning. I reached out to try to help him when I found myself in the same situation, him holding onto me, and both of us sinking.

Everything turned out ok. The boy was saved. But there was a moment when I thought things weren't going to be ok, and I had to yell for help.

The feeling of drowning is something I've felt a lot lately, in different areas of my life. It's hard to feel like you can't handle things on your own, but sometimes the best thing you can do is call for help."
